Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial assessment to check if the manuscript adheres to the journal's aim and scope and meets minimum standards for quality and relevance.

Editors review the manuscript to assess its overall quality, originality, and alignment with the journal's scope. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic criteria may be rejected at this stage.

Peer Review Assignment:

If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is sent for peer review. The editor selects external experts (peer reviewers) in the field to evaluate the paper.

Peer Review:

Peer reviewers assess the manuscript for its scientific rigor, methodology, originality, clarity, and contribution to the field. They provide detailed feedback and recommendations to the editor.

Editorial Decision:

Based on the feedback from the peer reviewers, the editor makes an editorial decision. This decision may include acceptance, minor or major revisions, or rejection.

Author Revision:

If revisions are required, the authors address the reviewers' comments and make necessary changes to the manuscript.

Final Decision:

The revised manuscript is re-evaluated by the editor to ensure that the authors have adequately addressed the reviewers' comments. A final decision is made on whether to accept the paper for publication.

Publication:

Accepted manuscripts are then prepared for publication, including formatting, proofreading, and inclusion in the upcoming issue of the journal.

IRJAEH work on different timescales, the goal is that the editor will inform you of their first decision within 2–4 weeks. During this period, we will send you automated updates on the progress of your manuscript via our submission system, or you can log in to check on the current status of your paper.
