This paper explores the potential of ChatGPT as an AI-driven virtual teaching assistant, a personalized learning companion, and an interactive tool for engagement in classrooms. By examining the strengths, challenges, and future trajectory of ChatGPT’s integration in education, this paper provides a comprehensive review of its capabilities, discusses its impact on teaching and learning, and evaluates the ethical concerns surrounding its deployment.
